Care of upholstered furniture

Upholstery materials are the most "exploited" part of upholstered furniture, which is under heavy stress every day, not to mention the absurd accidents in the form of spilled coffee, children's art, etc. Care for upholstered furniture is intended to preserve and maintain the proper condition of the upholstery material. The main measures are regular cleaning with a vacuum cleaner, dry cloth or damp sponge and lather. Thanks to this, you will timely remove any substances that can lead to the formation of stains.

To remove fresh grease stains, you need to treat the dirty areas of the upholstery with a sponge or soft brush with detergent. To remove lipstick, white wine and fruit juice, you must additionally use ethyl alcohol. Tea, coffee and chocolate are removed with the foam of neutral detergents. Some stains are removed with special stain removers and cleaners. Note that the choice of cleaning agent is necessary depending on the method of production of upholstered furniture and the type of stains.
